Setting Gridhost Mail Accounts: Apple Mail, iPhone, Gmail, Outlook, Thunderbird Up
Following trial, error, and additional trial, I’m firmly committed to a company named TSO for customer hosting. Their service is second to none, and while my praise could justify a post I Had not bore you. TSO use Gridhost was called by an email client, and this site will demonstrate how you can install their mailbox be it Apple Mail, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, iPhone or Thunderbird.

Obtaining Your Preferences Right

Set Up Your Gridhost Mailbox

Go to Accounts > Add Account > Other

For Incoming Mail Server
Host Title: mail3.gridhost.co.uk
Username: your new email address
Password: glue your password
Host Name: mail3.gridhost.co.uk
Username: your email address
Password: paste your password
Click Save and wait patiently for it to verify.
Setup With Gmail
Gmail involves two setups — the capacity to send emails, and also the means to get them.
Go to Settings > Account & Tasty

Your password is the mailbox
Your POP Server is mail.yourdomain.com
Your Own Port is 110
Select Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the host
Select’label incoming message…’
Click Insert Account
What today? You can select your email address from the dropdown menu when you click on Compose. You can set the speech to default option by returning to Settings and navigating to Send Mail As.
Install With Microsoft Outlook
If you are using Microsoft Outlook, the setup is rather straightforward:
Go to Settings > Connected Accounts
In Add a connected account click other email accounts
Enter your username (email address) and password, then click save.
Go back to Settings > Connected Accounts, select your account and click the edit symbol to go into advanced settings
Fill in your username and password at which requested
Under Server information add the following
Incoming server: mail3.gridhost.co.uk
Incoming port: 993
Authentification: Fundamental
Outgoing server: mail3.gridhost.co.uk
Outgoing port: 465
Click rescue and go! Next, wait for MS to import your settings. An excess folder along with your email address should appear in your inbox. You can send and receive Gridhost emails using Microsoft Outlook.
Install With Thunderbird
Go to File, New and Existing Mail Account
Type your display name, email address and password. Click continue and be taken to the screen.
Thunderbird will look up the email provider. Click on manual config and enter the following advice once it’s finished.
For instance, select mail3.gridhost.co.uk as the sever name, 993 as the Port, SSL/TLS from the dropdown and Autodetect for Authentication.
For instance (SMTP), after again type mail3.gridhost.co.uk as the server name, 465 as the Port, SSL/TLS in the dropdown and Autodetect for Authentication.
